Oasis Guest House strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities.

Physical Accessibility at the Oasis Guest House
Due to the location of the building on a small residential street, the entrance to the building is NOT wheelchair accessible as there are four (4) entry steps to get in to the first (ground) floor of the building. It is not possible to block the city sidewalk in order to install a ramp.
General
There are no elevators in the buildings.

Guest Rooms
Once a guest negotiates the four (4) entry steps into the building, we have one wheelchair accessible ADA compliant guest room with the following features:

Wide doors for room entry and the bathroom

Lever handles on all doors

Grab bars on the side wall and back wall of the toilet

Clearance under the sink

Clear floor space within the bathroom

Roll-in shower with shower seat, adjustable shower head and grab bars on the shower walls

Visual fire alarm

Bed height of 26"
-
One (1) queen bed - clearance of 36" is provided on one side of the bed only, and at the end of the bed, due to room size constraints

Oasis Guest House has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
